Jahi Marques Turner

Last seen in San Diego, California on April 25, 2002

Vital statistics: Black male. Born on February 10, 2000. Black hair; brown eyes. Turner is ambidextrous. He has a light complexion and suffers from eczema in the creases of his body. Was two when last seen.

Circumstances: Jahi was last seen in Balboa Park in the Golden Hill area near 28th Street and Cedar Street on April 25, 2002. The playground is near the 2800 block of Beech Street. His stepfather, Tieray Dewayne Jones, said that he left Turner near the sandbox while he purchased a soda from a nearby vending machine. Tieray stated that a woman and two children were near the area at the time. Turner had vanished by the time he returned. Turner has never been heard from again. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt imprinted with images of Winnie The Pooh and Tigger, blue nylon cargo pants with an orange drawstring and gray Air Jordan shoes. The woman has been identified; she provided unspecified information relating to Turner's case. Some believe that Jahi was murdered by his stepfather or otherwise accidentally killed due to diary entries Tieray had written at the time. No evidence has been unearthed that Jahi met with foul play, however. His stepfather is currently imprisoned on an unrelated drug charge. Classified as a Non-Family Abduction by most agencies.

Reason for inclusion: Jahi's case was closed in January 2004 for unknown reasons. He remains missing. It was opened again several years later, but he remains here as our inspiration.

Last seen in Glendale, California on June 28, 1999

Vital statistics: Henry is a white male. He was born on March 3, 1988. Brown hair, brown eyes. He has a scar on top of his head. Was eleven at the time. Kerovbe is a white male. He was born on February 5, 1992. Brown hair, brown eyes. Was seven at the time.

Circumstances: They are being concealed by their father, Robert Barseghyan, from their mother. A photo and vital statistics for him are posted below. A warrant was issued for him on September 1, 1999. It is unknown if the warrant is still active. Classified as Family Abductions.

Circumstances: The child was abducted by her non-custodial mother. Photos and vital statistics for her are not available. They may be in New Jersey, New York or Russia. Classified as a Family Abduction.

Reason for inclusion: The case was closed after contact with the searching father was lost.

Barbara Joy Gallagher

Last seen in Azeala, Oregon in September 1988

Vital statistics: White female. Born on April 9, 1957. Blond hair, blue eyes. She wears glasses or contact lenses. Her nickname is "Barbi." She has a tattoo of a dove on her right shoulder and her ears are pierced. She may use any of the following last names: "Barr," "Walker," "Evenson," "Shippers," "Bradwell," "Redl," "Barr," or "Wood." Was thirty-one at the time.

Circumstances: Gallagher was last seen in her Azalea, Oregon home in September 1988. Gallagher lived with her boyfriend, Robert Douglas Barr, at the time. She was reported missing by her sister on February 7, 1989. On March 26, 2001, the 61-year-old Barr killed his wife, Rebecca, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and committed suicide a month later. Barr lived in a heavily wooded area in Azalea. Robert Douglas Barr, the man Barbara was living with at the time of her disappearance, is the main suspect in Gallagher's disappearance. He later married another woman who was murdered in 2001. After finding out that he was the focus of a police investigation into his wife's murder, he commited suicide with the same gun he allegedly used to shoot his wife. Classified as Endangered Missing.

Reason for inclusion: Law enforcement closed the case in 2004, but Gallagher remains missing.

A felony warrant for Interference with Custody was issued for the abductor on 12/22/92; it is unknown if the warrant is still active. Classified as a Family Abduction.
