Vital statistics: Black male. Born on February 10, 2000. Black hair; brown eyes. Turner
is ambidextrous. He has a light complexion and suffers from eczema in
the creases of his body. Was two when last seen.
Circumstances: Jahi was last seen in Balboa Park in the Golden Hill
area near 28th Street and Cedar Street on April 25, 2002. The
playground is near the 2800 block of Beech Street. His stepfather,
Tieray Dewayne Jones, said that he left Turner near the sandbox while
he purchased a soda from a nearby vending machine. Tieray stated that a
woman and two children were near the area at the time. Turner had
vanished by the time he returned. Turner has never been heard from
again. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt imprinted
with images of Winnie The Pooh and Tigger, blue nylon cargo pants with
an orange drawstring and gray Air Jordan shoes. The woman has been
identified; she provided unspecified information relating to Turner's
case. Some believe that Jahi was murdered by his stepfather or
otherwise accidentally killed due to diary entries Tieray had written
at the time. No evidence has been unearthed that Jahi met with foul
play, however. His stepfather is currently imprisoned on an unrelated
drug charge. Classified as a Non-Family Abduction by most agencies.
Reason for inclusion: Jahi's case was closed in January 2004 for unknown reasons. He remains missing. It was opened again several years later, but he remains here as our inspiration.

Last seen in Fargo, North Dakota on June 28, 1993
Vital statistics: White female. Born on December 12, 1981. Blond hair, blue eyes. Last seen wearing a blue T-shirt with two gold and white mime masks on the front, turquoise shorts, and black roller blades with neon green wheels. Was eleven at the time.
Circumstances: North was Rollerblading with a friend in her hometown of Fargo, North Dakota during the evening hours of June 28, 1993. A police officer saw the two girls stop at a local convenience store at approximately 10:30 pm. According to North's friend, they headed back towards their homes shortly thereafter. North's friend said that she arrived at her own residence and watched North Rollerblade to the corner of 15th Street and 4th Avenue. Her friend went inside and North has never been seen again. She never arrived at her family's house, which was 120 feet away from the corner.
North's neighbor, Kyle Kenneth Bell, confessed to molesting and murdering North in January 1995, nearly two years after her disappearance. Bell said that he dumped North's body in the Sheyenne River shortly after her death. A search of the area began in 1995 after his confession, but no evidence was located. Bell claimed that his confession was coerced by authorities and recanted his statements in May 1995. Bell had already been convicted of molesting other young girls at the time. Meanwhile, the continuing search of the Sheyenne River produced a piece of rope and a cinder block in 1996. The materials matched elements found inside Bell's residence and it is believed they may have been used in the disposal of North's remains. Authorities matched several hairs found in Bell's truck to North's DNA and he was convicted of her murder in 1999. Bell was sentenced to life in prison. Classified as a Non-Family Abduction.
Reason for inclusion: North has been removed from NCIC.
