Last seen in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada on May 11, 1998

Vital statistics: Corrina is a white female. She was born on February 12, 1993. Long blond hair, blue eyes. She is possibly develompentally delayed and may have a speech impediment. She suffers from eczema. She is described as shy. Was five at the time. Sheldon is a white male. He was born on January 30, 1996. Blond hair, blue eyes. He has two deformed fingers on his left hand. He may be small for his age. Was two at the time. They may use the alias last names "Straker" or "Beausoleil." They speak English and may also speak French.

NCIC numbers: M-187202234 (Corrina) and M-187202846 (Sheldon)

Circumstances: They were abducted by their non-custodial mother, Carmen Annette Sperling. A photo and vital statistics are posted below. She failed to appear at a custody hearing involving her and Corrina's father, Jean Beausoleil. She was also involved in a custody dispute with Sheldon's father, James Straker. Previously, she had assaulted Sheldon by striking his face and he had been placed into foster care by the CAS. She also alleged that Beausoleil was abusing Corrina but the charges were deemed to be unfounded. Her mother, Ruth Sperling, appeared at the custody hearing and claimed not to know her daughter's whereabouts. However, she had rented out the suite of rooms her daughter lived in her home and the whole suite had been emptied of personal belongings. She may still be in contact with her family. She is wanted on a Canada-wide abduction warrant as well as for contempt of court.

Vital statistics: White female. Born on August 2, 1970. Long blond hair, blue eyes. She may dye her hair. She has acne scars on her face, her hair is thinning and her bangs are often gelled, and her ears are double pierced. She has a stutter and bites her nails. She wears a size four in women's clothing. She may go by her middle name, "Annette," or use the alias last names "Straker" or "Beausoleil." Was twenty-seven at the time.
