Circumstances: She was abducted by her non-custodial father, Farid Farhoumand. A photo and vital statistics are posted below. He was seperated from Stephanie's mother at the time. A felony warrant is on file for him. They are known to have traveled to Mexico and then to Germany. It is believed they were headed to Iran, but a lack of funds caused them to return to Mexico. They may still be there.

Vital statistics: White (Middle Eastern) male. Born on October 3, 1980. Black hair, brown eyes. He may use the alias "Sam Reed." Was twenty-seven at the time.
