Vital statistics: Briza is a hispanic female. She was born on March 5, 2004. Brown hair, brown eyes. Was two at the time. Carlos is a hispanic male. He was born on December 10, 2002. Brown hair, brown eyes. Some agencies give his first name as "Manuel." Was three at the time. Dana is a hispanic female. She was born on November 22, 1998. Brown hair, brown eyes. Was seven at the time. Karla is a hispanic female. She was born on January 8, 1996. Brown hair, brown eyes. Was ten at the time.

Circumstances: They were abducted by their non-custodial mother, Lizbeth Hernandez. She is a hispanic female with brown hair and brown eyes; she was twenty-six at the time. Photos and other vital statistics for her are not available. They are believed to be in the company of her current husband, Victor Pena; he is the father of Briza and Manuel. He is a hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes; he was thirty at the time. Photos and other vital statistics for him are not available. At the time Dana was in foster care due to serious injuries she had suffered. Hernandez and Pina were believed to be responsible for these injuries. The other three children had been in foster care but were later returned to their family. On the above date they picked up Dana for a visit but did not return her. When police went to the family home they discovered they had taken the other children and fled. They are believed to be in Mexico. Their guardian has applied for their return under the Hague Treaty. There are misdemeanor warrants for their arrest on child abuse charges. Because of this the children are considered at risk.
