Mashia Seyedeh Rezadoust

Last seen in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on December 31, 2010

Vital statistics: Biracial (asian/white) female. Born on April 22, 2003. Wavy black hair, brown eyes. She is of Chinese and Iranian descent and speaks English and Chinese. Was seven at the time.

Circumstances: She was initially abducted by her non-custodial mother, Chun Mei Li. Photos of her are not available. She had never married her daughter's father, Seyed Morteza Rezadoust, but they had lived together for several years; they seperated when Mashia was two years old. Li took her to China to visit relatives, and while she returned to Canada in February 2011, her daughter was not with her. Li said she was living with her grandparents and uncle in China. She was ordered to return her to Canada on April 11, 2011, but did not do so. In court, Li alleged that Seyed was abusive, but also admitted she had asked him to look after their daughter when she worked a night shift. Li was charged with kidnapping a child in contravention of a custody order and was convicted on January 12, 2016. The judge said she would serve all seven years in prison unless she let authorities verify her daughter's whereabouts. Li has not done so. She is still believed to be in China, but authorities have been unable to verify this or any information about her well-being.
