Vital statistics: White male. Born on July 22, 2001. Blond hair, blue eyes. He was born in Italy and is a dual citizen of Italy and the United States; he speaks English and Italian. Was five at the time.

Circumstances: He was abducted by his non-custodial mother, Manuela Antonelli. A photo and vital statistics are posted below. She took him from his kindergarten after the courts awarded custody to his father, Michael McCarty. She had previously made false accusations of abuse against him. They are known to have flown from the John F. Kennedy airport in New York and traveled to Rome, Italy. However, the Italian authorities later found Antonelli to be an unfit parent and took Liam into state custody. He was then placed in an orphanage in Italy. While there his condition deteriorated and he was ordered to a different orphanage with no contact allowed with his mother or his maternal relatives. The day he was supposed to be moved, he was abducted again. He was located again in Italy in late January; his mother was arrested and Liam was placed with his maternal uncle. She is currently awaiting trial. His father is still petitioning the Italian courts to allow Liam to return to the US.

Vital statistics: White (Italian) female. Born on June 4, 1962. Auburn hair, green eyes. She was born in Rome, Italy and speaks English and Italian. She has worked as an actress. Was forty-four at the time.
