Vital statistics: Raie is a white female. She was born on May 4, 1997. Blond hair, blue eyes. Was one at the time. Rachelle is a white female. She was born on June 25, 1998. Brown hair, brown eyes. Was ten months at the time.
NCIC numbers: M-751012322 (Raie) and M-261014293 (Rachelle)
Circumstances: The children were abducted by their non-custodial mother, Marie Martine Charoux Jordan. A photograph and vital statistics for Marie are posted below. Marie took Raie and Rachelle from Edgefield, South Carolina to visit her family in Mauritus, an island in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Africa, on September 6, 1998. On December 4, Marie called the children's father and said she wouldn't be coming home. They both initiated divorce proceedings and their father was awarded custody in the US. However, Mauritus has not signed the Hague Treaty and refuses to acknowledge the US custody order. A Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) warrant for international parental kidnapping was issued for the abductor on March 22, 2000.
