Edward Lee Melanson

Last seen in Hubbard, Ohio on August 12, 2007

Vital statistics: Biracial (asian/white) male. Born on July 12, 2003. Brown hair, brown eyes. He has a mark on his right lower cheek and a patch of lighter colored skin on the right side of his face, near his chin. He speaks English and Korean. His nickname is "Eddie" and he may use the alias "Haneul Lee." Was four at the time.

Circumstances: He was abducted by his non-custodial mother, Kyong-Mi Lee. A photo and vital statistics are posted below. His parents, who never married, had separated in 2005 and custody of Edward was shared between his mother and his father, Richard Melanson. She asked to keep Edward for two extra days to take him to the theme park in Cedar Point, and is believed to have gone to South Korea instead. Edward's passport is currently in the possesion of his father, so it is believed he is traveling under a fake passport. An FBI warrant for international parental kidnapping was issued for her on August 15, 2007. They may be traveling in a 2006 white Toyota station wagon with Ohio license plate number JJOKOMOI.
