Vital statistics: Biracial (hispanic/white) male. Born on June 5, 2006. Blond hair, brown eyes. He may go by the last name "Cardenas" and some agencies refer to him as "Diego Scott Konigsthal Cardenas." He speaks Spanish. Was one at the time.

Circumstances: He was abducted by his non-custodial mother, Valerie Cardenas. Photos and vital statistics for her are not available. His parents never married but were still in a relationship when Cardenas and his father, Thomas Konigsthal, went to Mexico on a family vacation. Thomas returned to Montreal in January 2008 expecting that Cardenas and Diego would follow but she later informed him she was going to stay in Mexico with family. She claimed Thomas was addicted to marijuana and was not able to support them. His father has sought his return under the Hague Treaty, but a decision has not yet been made.
