Circumstances: He was abducted by his non-custodial mother, Stacy Marie Boyce. A photo and vital statistics are posted below. She had divorced Drake's father, Matthew Clayton, in 2005 and was given custody with Clayton getting visitation rights. On the above date she traveled to Shanghai, China with Drake. She does not speak Chinese and has no connections to the country; it is believed she fled there because China does not recognize United States law. A Federal Bureau of Investigation warrant for international parental kidnapping was issued for her on March 5, 2008. She previously was charged after she refused to return a son she had with another man to the boy’s father after a court authorized visitation. Her passport is flagged in case she leaves China; she is also fined a thousand dollars a month retroactive to August until she returns to the United States.
