Vital statistics: Abdel-Ghaniy is a white (Lebanese) male. He was born on October 13, 2010. Blond hair, blue eyes. His nickname is "AG" and some agencies may spell his name "Abdel Ghainy." Was four at the time. Omar is a white (Lebanese) male. He was born on May 2, 2009. Brown hair, brown eyes. Was six at the time. Both children were born in Lebanon, are dual citizens of Canada and Lebanon, and speak Arabic and English.

Circumstances: They were abducted by their non-custodial father, Ali Ahmad. Photos and vital statistics for him are not available. He had asked the boys' mother, Jolly Bimbachi, if he could take them to Lebanon to visit his mother and sell a house they owned. Both Bimbachi and Ali are from Lebanon; Bimbachi moved to Canada when she was eight and returned to Lebanon to teach, where she met her husband. After she gave him permission to travel am uncle later called her to say that her children would not be coming home. Ali later confirmed he had planned to kidnap them for eighteen months. They are still believed to be in Lebanon.
