Circumstances: He was abducted by his non-custodial mother, Arathi Bandi. A photo and vital statistics are posted below. A felony warrant was issued for her on March 13, 2009. His parents were involved in a custody battle for some time and his father, B.J. Rao, got a restraining order that prohibited Anand being taken out of state. The final agreement said that he could be taken out of the country by both parents but not for more than five days. On the above date, she left for India. They are believed to still be there.

Vital statistics: Asian (Indian) female. Born on September 11, 1972. Black hair, black eyes. She speaks English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. She may use the last names "Anne" or "Dasari." Was thirty-six at the time.
