Separated from his mother in the only home he knew in Argentina and forced to live again in New York with the father who he did not know and who does not acknowledge his epilepsy. Alexander’s mother Loana Noguera adored him and he had his supportive family with a happy life in Argentina. Yes his mother broke the international law to go to Argentina but she was young, desperate, and reckless in her attempts to give her son the environment she thought was healthy and best for him. Many “yanqui” women make the same errors also. The court decisions did not take into account warring parents who could not together provide Alexander a good environment and in the end did not even allow Alexander his mother at all because she cannot return to New York. Where is the best interests of Alexander when New York courts denies him free access to both parents and all family? He will suffer psychological stress from the forced separations.
