My knowledge of Texas might be a little rusty because I have lived there in 15 years, but I believe Matamoros is the twin city of Brownsville. Couldn’t the daddy just take a day trip over there and bring his boy back to Brownsville a lot easier than waiting on the FBI to do anything? Of course that would extrajudicial justice, but from personal experience I know that such actions are sometimes the only way to see your child again.
