What are your thoughts on Julian Hernandez’s adamant demands and pleas for privacy saying that he doesn’t want his life to change while remaining ambiguous towards a reunion with his searching biological mother? Do you believe as I do that this is the most typical reaction? I believe that a child is adaptable and resilient and when without parent(s) soon are unable to remember life before,so soon do not want things to change and the later return of the deprived parent(s) causes much drama and emotional turmoil. I also believe that when the child’s current primary caregiver is arrested or taken away as a constant presence, the child becomes angry and confused and hates the deprived persons,so does not want to see the persons. There is much harm to destabilize the gone child’s present life. I feel that Julian Hernandez is attempting to preserve the consistentness and also also stability of his life.

I think it’s understandable at this point, and feeling overwhelmed is a natural one. He has to come to terms with the fact most of his life has been constructed of lies. I sincerely hope that he reunites with his mother.

“Primary caregiver” is irrelevant at this point, since Julian is 18.
