Luca Principali found

Only a short few days after I write a post about him, Luca Principali is found safe. His mother turned herself in to the police. I’m glad about this. One can only wonder if this is in the trend of the honesty I touched on previously – if you flat out admit you took the kid for spite there’s less justification for keeping them away from the other parent on your part. I wish him and his father the best in re-adjusting.

I am a bit confused by this. When exactly did this woman say that she took her son out of spite? I’ve read most of the news reports and only saw this reported here in this blog. Furthermore, have you read the reports that she (Katherine Principali) say’s that she had a restraining order against her husband? I think that there is more to this story than meets the eye.

In my previous post, I cited an article where it said “About two hours after Luca was abducted on Aug. 19, Ekaterina Principali called Anthony Principali and told him she took the boy to teach the father a lesson and that she would return the boy later.”

I guess I’ve read one other article, but I am still not sure who was quoted as saying that. I have not seen it reported anywhere else that the boys father made that statement. I have recently read that the DA is considering new evidence in this case that may result in the charges being dropped. I also heard from a friend of mine that the official FBI report casts doubt on Tony Principali’s version of things (that his wife abandoned the family).

Do you have some sort of cite that the DA is considering dropping charges?
